Meet our Pastor
The Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures are the pastor in Christian Science churches.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy sheds light on the spiritual meaning of the Bible, making it practical in solving everyday problems.

Bible lessons for daily study are prepared by The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts. These lessons comprise the sermon read on Sunday by two elected lay readers.

The content of the lesson sermons may be found in the Christian Science Quarterly. You may explore the lesson sermon for this week at biblelesson.christianscience.com.

The Bible
Christian Science is based on the spiritual truths found in the Bible, and emphasis is on the teachings and example of Christ Jesus. The King James Version of the Bible is read during the Sunday Service and Wednesday meeting. Mary Baker Eddy was a life-long Bible student. She wrote of it, "the Bible was my only textbook..." and "the Bible was my only authority." She called it "the chart of life."

Study of the Bible and searching its spiritual meanings is fundamental to one's study of Christian Science.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
For many years, Mary Baker Eddy searched for spiritual solutions to sickness and suffering.  This book, her main work, explains her discovery to be the spiritual laws of God bringing health and freedom.  She later named her discovery Christian Science.  This book is an invaluable resource for one seeking a spiritual perspective.  Chapter topics include: prayer, marriage, physiology, creation, footsteps of truth, and more.  There is also a glossary of terms, and 100 pages of accounts of healing resulting solely from reading this book.

Science and Health is read in more than 130 countries. It has also been sold in 70 countries in over 3,000 bookstores, Christian Science Reading Rooms, and online. It is published in 17 languages and is available in English Braille.
